MHHRA is excited to be able to offer its members free webinars throughout 2012 on legal topics that are relevant to the today’s health care human resource professional.  We realize that with all of our busy schedules and limited budgets, it is often difficult to keep up to date on all of the legal changes.  With the assistance of the lawyers at Miller Johnson, we are providing four webinars in 2012.  For MHHRA members, attendance is free.  For non-MHHRA members, the cost is $50 per webinar.

Topic:              Social Media.  This webinar will discuss the most recent legal developments in the area of social media in the workplace.  We will discuss recent NLRB decisions helping better define when social media is protected and concerted activity for which an employee cannot be disciplined.  We will also discuss practical points for HR professionals to consider in implementing social media policies as well as enforcement actions as it relates to violation of those policies.
